LIMITED WARRANTY

1. Warranty Coverage 

FJ warrants that the FJ product(s) identified on the customer’s proof of purchase (the “Product”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of [12 months / 1 years] ,whichever occurs first, beginning on the date of original purchase by the first end-customer. 

This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable, unless FJ agrees otherwise in writing. 

Important note for OEM or special programs: If you have a separate written warranty agreement or OEM supply agreement with FJ, that agreement may supersede or modify the terms of this website warranty for those specific products/programs. 

2. What FJ Will Do (Remedy) 

If, during the warranty period, FJ determines (in its sole reasonable judgment) that the Product has a covered defect, FJ will, at its option, repair the Product, replace the Product with a new or equivalent-to-new product, or issue a credit. 

Any repaired or replaced Product is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or ninety (90) days, whichever is longer. 

3. How to Make a Warranty Claim 

To request warranty service, please submit a warranty claim with the following: 

A. Proof of purchase (invoice, order number, and purchase date) 

B. Product model/item number and serial number/date code 

C. Vehicle/system information (application, voltage, and installation date) 

D. A clear description of the issue, including any error codes 

E. Photos, video, and/or test logs if available 

After review, if a return is required, FJ will issue an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and return instructions. Do not ship any product to FJ without an RMA. 

4. Shipping and Freight 

If FJ confirms an in-warranty manufacturing defect, FJ will cover return freight back to the customer after the evaluation is complete. 

If the Product is out of warranty, no fault is found, or the issue is determined to be caused by non-warrantable conditions, the customer is responsible for freight and any applicable evaluation/repair costs (if approved in advance). 

5. Warranty Exclusions (Not Covered) 

This Limited Warranty does not cover, and FJ is not responsible for, any of the following: 

A. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, improper storage, or improper handling 

B. Improper installation, wiring, configuration, calibration, or maintenance, including use contrary to the Product manual or published specifications 

C. Unauthorized modifications, unauthorized repairs, or use of non-FJ firmware/software that is not approved by FJ 

D. Use with incompatible parts, accessories, batteries, chargers, or systems not specified or approved by FJ 

E. Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage that does not affect function, consumables, or routine adjustments 

F. Environmental or external causes such as corrosion/contamination, water intrusion/submersion, power surges, lightning, fire, flood, or other acts of nature 

G. Damage occurring during shipping due to improper packaging by the customer 

6. Customer Responsibilities 

Before returning any Product, the customer must: 

A. Provide accurate information and reasonable supporting evidence (photos/video/test logs) 

B. Follow any basic troubleshooting steps requested by FJ 

C. Back up and remove any customer data (if applicable) before shipment (FJ is not responsible for data loss) 

D. Package the Product properly to prevent shipping damage (shipping damage from insufficient packaging is not covered) 

7. Limitations of Liability 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FJ’s total liability under this Limited Warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or credit of the Product as described above. 

FJ is not liable for any incidental, consequential, indirect, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, loss of business, downtime, substitute equipment costs, or claims of third parties, whether 

arising from contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, even if FJ has been advised of the possibility of such damages. 

8. Implied Warranties and Legal Rights 

To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) are limited in duration to the duration of this Limited Warranty. 

Some states do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties or the exclusion/limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. 

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state.
